I was called at 03.18 am .. what a fright and how daring!!

Just had a very shady call, would only speak to the owner. Did some digging and found this warning on facebook: *ATTENTION SMALL BUSINESSES* Had a call from this company earlier today, trying to sell me advertising space on GP surgery appointment cards... Google them and you ll soon see they appear to be SCAMMERS... Been at it for years... I know from the phone conversation they re operating in the South Wales area in the next few days... I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don t forget to care!

Called me today and after ascertaining I was the person she wanted to speak to, informed (yes! informed)me that I had worked in a noisy environment and they had been allocated a sum of money... I stopped listening, informed the caller that I was registered with TPS and no matter what excuse they could put forward, there is no way I would be doing business with any company which would deliberately ignore my wishes regarding cold calling.
