Got a call from this number a couple weeks back and they were asking about my solar panels order, however, I told them that they have the wrong number as I did not order any solar panels and I do not own any solar panels. She then asked for my full name and address so that she can confirm that I am not in the system and so she can take me off if incorrect (very fishy). I keep receiving calls on my mobile phone and landline from different numbers (landline/mobiles). With an increase lately (morning, afternoon and evening!!) I did some research and have now registered with TPS and called Converso (tel 01702434555) to ask them to remove me from ALL their lists. The guy at converso asked me which company was calling me. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 15137524xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing / accident chasers / PPI - but also surveys, wide scope telemarketing call centre. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

Asian lady, who I couldn't understand, claiming to be from the government department claims advisory group. Apparently they had a cheque to send me for overpaid bank charges. Told her to send it to me, but she wanted my DOB. When challenged that surely they knew this as they had my name and number and address etc, then they must already have my DOB, she said it was for verification, at which point I thanked her for the call (it included a few expletives) and hung up. Do not engage with them.
