I have listed this as scam SCAM but I do answer unknown out of the blue calls. I believe that if the caller dosen't bother to leave a message, it can't be serious and is probably up to no good. As soon as the caller got the answerphone message they immediately killed the call.

Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Scam call, spoofing Starling Banks number from abroad, first they will make a small transaction from Groupon or Amazon to make it look as if they know fraudulent activities has taken place on your account and how much for, then they will claim a much larger amount has been attempted but cancelled by them. Once they have you in they'll attempt to extract details of your account, please hang up and call Starling back if this is the case!

Phone No. 01329239173 phoned today and claimed to be my bank security, without stating who I bank with, they said that I'd authorised Payments of £300 to Amazon and £1200 from a site I don't normally use. This was obviously a scam to get my Bank Details, I've checked with my bank and no such payments have been authorised, ,thank god. This comes after I've been hit on one of my cards for a payment I hadn't authorised with Fancy2go.com, another con artist.

This number relates to an investment scam called GFA capital. They get you to deposit a small amount of money ($275) and they claim they invest it in crypto and produce huge results. In 5 days my $275 grew to $75000. WOW Then one of their senior investment managers calls you and shows you a bitcoin opportunity, invest $18000 and they will produce a $10000 return in 5 days. BULLSHIT. I requested a withdrawal from my pot and was told that I had to pay £12000 tax to release the funds. Dangerous scam
