Call received today regarding being in a car accident! Scam

High Impact calling about the accident that they believe I was involved in that wasn't my fault, I have now blocked the number as when I asked to be taken off the calling list they hung up.
Now blocked like most of the 0161814 numbers. PPI scammers must own most of the 814 numbers - or they can spoof them.

I was asked to phone this number to set up insurance for my Sky equipment which they said was running out of warranty. When I asked they didn t know what equipment I had.

I am not sure what this number is they first rang me yesterday at 09:31 am and a young man asked to speak to Laura can't remember the surname I said that I was not her he then said you might be able to help I said I was unable to talk right now and could they phone me back at a later time, we agreed for him to ring me back after 3 pm. They did ring back at 15:02 this time it was a young lady she asked for Laura again I told her I was not her she said sorry and apologized for the mistake and hung up.
This is an unsolicited cold caller, insurance broker. PPI claims after car accidents. I never even had a car accident. Very suspicious, no idea how they got hold of my number. I ll block it.
I called this number back today 18/4/17 and it was a recorded voice saying congratulations you have been selected to have a chance to win something or an IpadI hung up and blocked.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 08452867xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036086xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with telemarketing calls, surveys, sometimes also accident chasers - insurance and PPI claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
