As with previous comments, I had a call from an Indian gentleman on 002389001076 and had been chosen at random - the UK government does not do this type of thing so I knew it was a scam. SCAM - Automated call from a Warwickshire number claiming that my Amazon account had been fraudulently used to purchase an Apple iphone 11. I only use it to purchase Kindle ebooks. Don't even be tempted to press 1 out of curiosity you'll either get charged a hefty fee on your landline phone bill, or speak to someone who will put the fear of god into you, convince you this is real, get you to disclose your true card details or even manage to get your internet banking log on details from you!
