Received a call saying I was owed £3850 from a previous PPI claim (which had already been settled). Indian gentleman said he was Alex Carter from the County Court of London, 227 The Strand. I had a subsequent call from Francis Anderson, same voice, same tone, probably the same person. I was told to hand over iTunes vouchers for £150 when the cheque would be hand delivered to me. We are getting calls on a regular basis from this number. This morning I decided to ask my own questions. It seems they do not have a phone number they are willing to give out. They want to ask questions on household matters (although they deny this is a survey). When I asked if they were calling from the UK they said no South east Asia. Has kept calling me asking to speak to someone who I have no idea who is. When challenged on this said could I give them my details to update their records then they would never call again. When asked they said they were someone called "Benefits UK". Number is now blocked
