left message regarding an accident I was supposedly involved in. When I called them, they claimed it was about life insurance even after I told them they left the message about a road accident.
Called me so I could make a payment as my email wasnt receiving from Very. Panicked as after the call it came up with "potential fraud" and that is what bought me to this site!

Just done some business with Reed Rains so this looks like another example of passing (or selling on) personal data. The Consumers Association (Which) are currently running a program to identify and stop these sort of calls. I ll add this one to their list

SCAM The call was a 'real' person in a busy call centre purporting to be from Amazon reporting that someone had bought a £45 voucher through my account which they thought was suspicious.
