Received call from a withheld number claiming to be TalkTalk and said there was an issue with my router and needed to connect to my computer. Asked for a reference number and they gave me this number 020 81233558 to call back. Instead I called TalkTalk's number on their website who confirmed no-one fro TalkTalk had called me and this was a phishing scam.

This number has called me around 15-20 times over the last 2 months. I answered it the first time -as I too was expecting a call, but became suspicious when it didn t sound like DWP calls. They haven t given up and by now I would have had a letter if it was genuine.
