This number called today and I didn t have time to Google it before answering. Said they were from American Express, only asked for half my postcode and they knew the type of card I held and how long I have had it. He was trying to sell an identity/credit rating protection (Platinum protect plus I believe). He was polite, when I said I wasn t interested he was pleasant. I received a call from this number at 5.15 ish am 0191 4171380 after a while phone went dead, I rang back phone answers then went dead, just like comments above.

These people rang my pay as you go mobile I have for emergencies.I don t often give out my number but it is registered as a contact number with my dogs microchip details which comes with 4 weeks free insurance.
