This number rings my phone repeatedly 4 or 5 times a day. I don t answer as I only answer callers I know. Who are these people they are now driving me mad.

Scammers who claim to be from "Telephone Preference Management" and try to get your debit card details on the pretext (ironically) of blocking nuisance calls. Preying on the elderly and gullible, as usual. Nasty.

Call received from this number telling me my loan application has been successful told him I m not interested and he told me he was hot and sexy!!!

Called my mobile and asked for me by name. Claimed to be from Nationwide Building Society and started trying to confirm my postcode. When I asked to be told why they were calling first they hung up. I suspect this to be a scam.

PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. Pre-recorded message claiming to be from BT but not sure why a British company would use someone ( or voice generation software) with a mid-Atlantic accent to deliver a message to a UK-based customer. Some rubbish about disconnecting my Internet if I don t follow instructions which, undoubtedly, would involve me in racking-up a huge phone bill, i.e. if press either 1 or 2 as instructed. I hung-up. A variation on the SCAM calls from India about problems with internet account.

Company name given was Direct Response - Accident Claims company making completely unsolicited calls! Reporting to TPS

Called house phone and mobile today said it was regarding a accident , claims scam don't answer.

Roofing solutions, used 07471216996, said his name was Mason, offering inspections, claiming a recent increase in problems due to storms. He asked a few questions on eligibility. A short while later, was called by Rebecca on 07393465578, telling me I was eligible. I said I did not want their services. When asked why I did not tell Mason that, I said he did not ask. I have BT call guardian, but these came through as announced calls with the above names.

They must spend a fortune the number of times they call me. I have also been in touch and had my number blocked but still the calls come

17 Dec 2021 - Rang 3 times, no answer. I didn’t answer with my name so they may have been wanting that. Scam number I think so it’s now blocked.Reply

They called advising I had not had my free pension yet. I asked where they got my name and telephone number from, she said a data base. The phone is not registered in my name and I only give a phone number to my insurance companies etc.
