Scam informing of refund from Sky Telephone. Wanted my debit card details. I kept giving them wrong information eventually they gave up.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different, which is a common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. Had a call from this number about 20 minutes ago saying HMRC has a case against me and to press 1 to speak to my case officer. Pressed 1 and the line was noisy so said hello but no response. HMRC does not ring to speak to private individuals. It does not operate that way. Shame on whoever is doing that
