I have managed to confirm that calls from this number are from a company debt management company called Stephenson Drake (www.stevensondrake.com. They operate by automated cold calling your number. You will either hear silence or a message asking if you are having problems with debt. If you press 5 to speak to someone then you are cut off BUT your number is stored and you will receive a follow up call from them. Answered a call from this number - they asked for some name, no-one that lives here anyway. Said they must have the wrong number and they went on to ask if I was the homeowner of some address or other (again wrong) at which point I said they had the wrong information and hung up. What makes it suspicious is that I could hear in the background on their end other people using the 'Are you the homeowner' line. Wish I hadn't answered now in case they are checking for valid phone numbers or something.
