Number called our business in Peterborough UK at 09:59 this morning. Follows the pattern of numerous calls we have had recently. We answered, but did not speak. The caller was on automated response waiting a voice from our end and when none was given the line was cut from the other end. Who Called Me indicates the call came from the Russian Federation Mordovia region and was therefore similar to one last week we had from Russian Federation Penza region. Map now shows this was Russian Trade Delegation in UK.
Called with a thick asian accent claiming to be Janet from Virgin and calling about an issue with the router. They asked me to tell them the colour on the router and then input a web address. I guessed immediately that this was a scam but decided to lead them on a little. After a couple of minutes 'Janet' realised that I knew this was a scam and launched into a tirade of verbal abuse swearing and threatening to come and stab me before then hanging up!

Call from man (no gentleman) with Indian accent who claimed to be from Microsoft Technical Department. When I jokingly replied that I was from Microsoft fraud department he ranted down the phone at me for 15 minutes in abusive language before he eventually hung up. Obviously been sold my number by IQoption binary trading company. I messed him about for a while, saying I was independently wealthy, he was very persistent, I hung up eventually.
This number just called both my house number and (house) office number at the same time. No one there when I answered the office tel. Probably just the usual unwanted marketing or other scam. Blocked for the future.
