The person who keeps phoning is rude always asks for Elaine (not me) and when I say that it is not me she says she wants to speak to E L A I N E over and over and over. Have blocked the number but feel they are telemarketing

Suspect untrustworthy. Wanted to offer me a 3 month subscription to the magazine for ?1 an issue (cover price about ?3.50 or so). Asked for my sort code and bank account number. I was driving so said ring back - when she did, I couldn t take the call anyway.

Rang me 5 times last week when I was on holiday in Spain. Hope it cost them a fortune. No message left.

The caller stating saying about the RSPCA so I listened to what he was saying and as he went on realised he was going to ask for money, ?10 a month thats all, I said no thanks, then he went on about cruelty to animals and said what about ?1 a week, I still said no thanks, had to hang up in the end

As above, a clearly fake call pretending to be from talk talk.

These Transcom a holes obviously don t even check the numbers they ve been given before calling them. Transcom left a computerised message demanding that someone should call them. I ve never given out my number, had no dealings with Transcom, and the person they were asking for has never, to my knowledge, lived here or used this number. Received call from Indian sounding male, call centre environment. Said other people had been using my router. He did NOT ask to confirm my name address, account etc. I asked him many questions as I new it was a scam. He asked me to go to my computer. He said he could not send me an email to confirm who he was so I asked him to call back in half an hour whilst I ring BT to clarify who he is, he quickly put the phone down.
