These people keep calling me but when i speak they do not seem to hear me. I ve now got caller ID and will not answer them again. Namely it solicits the person receiving the call to press 1 on their phones to seek help in avoiding Internet cut off within a timeslot of 4hrs usually. Needless to say there is no real problem pending and by pressing 1 the unwary may be frightened into giving bank details eg to pay delivery charge for new router. PLEASE HANG UP. Are very polite and asking questions about moving to Canada, after that the ask you to pay 279 US Dollars. When I ask for a confirmation by e-mail before I pay. They don't want to send an e-mail. And you have to pay directly.
Just done some business with Reed Rains so this looks like another example of passing (or selling on) personal data. The Consumers Association (Which) are currently running a program to identify and stop these sort of calls. I ll add this one to their list
