Picked up call to receive a recorded message about saving money on gas and electric bills. Offered option of pressing number for details or to be removed. I hung up.

This telephone number came back as "number not recognised" so I would gather it would be a scam.
Phoned my up about my Aviva policy and according to their records, I'm overdue for a review. The only issue is I don't have any policies with Aviva. SCAM!!!!!!!!! Don't think Aviva would be calling me on a mobile number either.

This is London Secure Storage, a fraud boiler-room operation. They send letters to previous victims of Wine fraud to try to scam them again. Their website is hosted in Ireland at an ISP known for hosting high risk sites. Their physical address is real but when you look of google street-view you will see a very run down industrial estate of builders and junk yards, all chain link and barbed wire. Block them

I did buy an engine back in 2013 from enginestoyou who did deliver an engine but it was the wrong one. After i informed them they came and collected it but failed to refund me or send me a replacement engine. I chased them through email and phone but they would simply ignore everything. This number comes from a scammer with an Indian accent calling from outside Blackburn. He claims someone is hacking into your internet provider and wants your details to sort out the problem. He is persistent and throughout lockdown has claimed to be ringing on behalf of Amazon, BT, Virgin, credit card companies. Don’t give him any information. He is so stupid he thinks I don’t recognise his voice when he calls every two or three weeks.

I live in the 01978 area code and I ve found any numbers that start 638 in my STD code area to be spam and other untrustworthy calls so I block all these numbers. 638868 has called 4 times today. All calls were left unanswered as my phone was on silent. Was contacted by this number yesterday & been unable to get hold of them myself on this number. Its so important
I had the same experience as Dani. I d cut them off as they couldn t give me any details of our BT account when they said that our internet was about to be cut off. I phoned BT and they confirmed that our internet service was ok and the call was probably a scam. I have now blocked this number
