As in the other comment I was told to ring 01642850850 - this is useless. It asks you to give the name of the person and offers no other option. Since I don t know who called I was at a dead end

Claimed to be Scottish Power. I have no dealings with Scottish Power so assume scammer.

Amazon Prime scam from a man with an Asian/Indian accent .

Call from lady with broken English asking for me by name and said your post code is xxxx - It was an old one of mine so asked why she wanted information and said she was calling from a company doing a survey, wanted to know what phone handset I - have I got a samsung or i phone, when i said she didn t need that information she said they are trying to find out the most popular handset, I asked her to delete any information she held about me as I did not consent to them holding information and she said she wo

Number called a couple of times, i picked up but they hung up within a second. Tried calling back but doesn t go through.

This number has rang several times per day for 3 weeks and never leaves a message. When you answer you can hear someone breathing and background noise but no one speaks. Beware. Very fishy.

Brand new mobile which hadn't even given details to any contacts and this number rang. Wouldn't tell me who they were or how they had my number. Very rude and abusive....

Called today on mobile aledgedly from HMRC stating investigating tax fraud and unless I responded a warrant would be issued for my arrest. Clearly a scam

Getting repeted calls upto three times a day all trying to tell me im entitled to ppi. Ive been patient, silent, rude but nothing seems to deter these people. Really think they should stop wasting their money on repeatedly calling the same number to get the same answer. Think next time I answer the phone ill answer it as department of internal fraud and see if that makes a difference. Im ex directory and am still puzzeled as to how they know my name.
