i got this call last week. asking me to buy something from them. they wanted the money transferred to their account. bogus.

Hassling you about a motoring accident and getting you to claim. My last accident was over 5 years ago and I dealt with a compensation claim off my own back. Male with Asian accent says he s from UK Helpline , calling my mobile about the "unsecured debt that you have and that you are managing alone, is that correct?" My number is TPS registered. These people have rung from various 016 numbers over the past months, I don t have unsecured debt and have told them to stop ringing, but they don t. Don t seem to have any of my personal information, pure cold nuisance calls.

I ve received 17 calls in 48 hours, sometimes within minutes of each other! I ve threatened to use another provider which has triggered these calls, but even so, that s ridiculous and they never leave a message. I ve emailed them to tell them I will only converse with them via email as I m sick of being insulted by their foreign call centre workers!
