This number actually left me a message to ring 121, I havent done so, but I checked the number first as I didnt recognise it, I cannot believe how they would stoop so low.

Like others on here, I frequently post things for sale on Gumtree. Today, after posting an item, I received a text from this number, asking me to contact them by email. I did (but as I smelled a rat from the get go, I used an alternative email address that they can spam as much as they like) - and they replied almost instantly and very similarly to what others have received from them:- "Thanks for getting back to me,am really new to buying things on Gumtree i want the camera, i would like you to answe

They asked if they were speaking to ....... I told them that company had ceased trading 5 years ago. They apologised and ended the call. Clearly a call centre from the background noise and the delay in speaking when I answered their call

This number has called me on a number of occasions. When I answer it no one responds. I have no idea who it is or why they are calling me.

Spam loan call

SCAM: Automated female voice, claiming to be from BT, who have supposedly been trying to call me urgently, because of ‘suspicious activity’ on my account. My internet & line will be disconnected. Press 1 to speak to an ‘executive’ to rectify this. The call supposedly came from the Turks and Caicos Islands UK Representative, Baker St, London. Probably a spoofed number.

A very confident, well spoken young man called at 10.52 this morning. He said, is that Mrs Evans and proceeded to quote my address, and then went on to say that I had a washing machine of which the insurance has expired. I only said, yes...er no, and he put the receiver down. I did have an insurance with D&G but not with DAG, and the machine has not been insured in years. How did he have my details? I received a phone from a person called Kevin representing Windows technical support from phone number 02045009692. He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls. I told him in no uncertain terms not to bother me again.
