I was called by this number this morning. They told me they were calling regarding my licence from MICROSOFT being lapsed. They told me they would be able to renew my licence and could show me how to remove hackers from my laptop. I allowed these people access to my laptop thinking I was removing the hackers and viruses from the laptop. They gained access to my files and I have had money removed from my bank account (now closed).

A woman claimed to be calling from a company called MCA. She wished to talk to me about damage which occured to my car back in 2013, and the phone calls that I had subsequently been receiving. I advised her that a) my car wasn t damaged in 2013, and b) I hadn t had phone calls about the damage to my car - which hadn t occured! This is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but as written previously for similar numbers, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. All the numbers are of the same range 020347621xx - some of them were already reported as being used by call centre calling for non-profit (NSPCC - check them at http://www.nspcc.org.uk/), Marie Curie, charities, fund raising...
