COLD CALLER. JUST HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I ASKED IF IT WAS A COLD CALLER.
Caller claimed she was from BT and that other people were using my internet line. She wanted me to test something using my computer. She knew one of my email addresses, but not the one provided by BT. She gave daft or evasive answers to my questions. This appears to be a scam with the aim of getting me to provide personal details or perhaps remote access to my computer.

This is debt collectors calling me for a female who lived in my house before I bought it. They call usually twice a day 5 days a week. They will not listen, so the call does now not get answered, bad mannered Scots who look like they are looking for an argument. Fraud, claiming my national insurance number has been compromised or something along the lines. It's a robotic female voice, not an actual caller. Don't trust them, if something like that happens, HMRC would send you a letter, maybe an ufficial email, not call you from a private phone number!
Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.
