Stated he was from a company called Caledonian. Wouldnt tell me anything about the company or why he was calling until I said I had time to spare to talk properly. I hung up. Obviously trying to either sell me something or claim back PPI or similar. Not very forthcoming. I would avoid this company.

Just had this number call - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. Called me and hunger up after few seconds

answered a call, when picked up noone was there

They call every day and never stop. I have no idea who they are as they never leave voice mail and if you call back it goes to an expensive 08 numbet.

i get one or two calls from this number to my mobile (a talk talk contract). When you call back it goes nowhere - now worried that this may be a result of talk talk being hacked recently

Got a call from a guy asking me if i had problems with my ears of if i had worked in a noisy environment. Hung up when i said no. Called the number to see who they were and where they were from but the number is not recognised.

These people called me this afternoon, didn't leave a message. They seem to be searched for on this site by others; hence I've blocked them.

Incomplete number so definitely a scam. Just ignore it as you probably can't block it.
