As other commenters have already said, asian accented callers who leave "background noise" messages on my answer-phone. Don t bother phoning them back. Apparently I ve been in a car accident that wasn t my fault... h e c k. The woman on the other end was an automated service, but a clever one - they record the woman speaking, then cut the recording to each answer/question ("hello it s emma", "My company is proficient helpline") so someone on the other end just has to play a soundboard, but it sounds like you re actually talking to a real person. Stay away from these lovely people! ! ! ! ! !

Hoax tax call?

Phoned me today and just hung up.

This number calls regularly asking for Mrs McGee. Always a foreign sounding voice. I think they know it s not McGee but they want to engage you in conversation? I just hang up but it is so annoying. They must be trying to sell something I suppose.

Wednesday, 31 December 2014 09:01 hours. Telephone call from 01706830603. It seems they are nasty bailiff firm called Rossedales. No debts here. No message left. Rang them back, an answer message claimed that their offices were shut. Plenty of warnings about this firm.

These people keep calling me but when i speak they do not seem to hear me. I ve now got caller ID and will not answer them again. They are ringing at least twice every day but i think the delay means that they are not in this country. Really really annoying. I am planning to call Pet Plans head office on Monday and complain.

My 81 year old father was tricked into setting up a direct debit for his 4 year old Indecit. (June 2016)He realised the day after he was covered by another policy, so he cancelled the direct debit at the bank and wrote a letter to Appliance Serve as well as calling them by phone.
