I have been called several times by a person using this number I haven't got any idea whom it is

Just had call from this number purporting to be the National Crime Agency. This would have invited me to press 1 to avoid being arrested! I bet this number has been hacked by the scammers

Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. Scam pretending to be virgin media from a noisy call center, played along with them, told md WiFi was being used by five other people for criminal offences ????, when I asked then to confirm my virgin media customer number, they asked me to run a command in Windows, the number they had did match mine on screen by the command was just one to show what programs will open a file when you double click, after that I challenged them and they hung up
Supposedly from Microsoft. There was a problem with my hardware/software. They wanted me to turn on my computer and talk them through what was on the screen. Obviously a scam, not sure if it was for money or data, but I continued talking to them without giving any details until I had found my school whistle and then blew it down the phone (loudly) at them. I work in a large infants school, I have a good pair of lungs :-)
The call is for someone else, they obviously have the wrong number. They rattle off a reference number that if you haven t a pen in your hand you are stuck.
