Called today 27/10/20 at 8.19am . Non English accent said were from BT. Had this type of call before said that my internet had been compromised and they were going to switch it off. Considering I am not with BT it is a joke. Halted them in mid conversation said no thank you not interested and hung up. My time is too precious to be wasting talking to scammers.
SCAM - Apparently saw and ad for my car and wanted to buy it via paypal without even seeing the car. Definitely a paypal scam where they try to extort money out of you first.

SCAM MESSAGE Sent from +447983886760. Appears to originate from Whalley. Message says it's from the Pist Offuce saying your package has a £1.99 shipping fee and gives a link. Don't click or it will cost you money and more importantly your details. If you recognise this number or receive a text from this number, Report to the police immediately.

Not a day goes by without a moron calling from this number and asking to speak to a Mr Green. The same person calls on a different number if you block the number they are calling from. Recorded phone call from "Bank" - not specified, stating there were two payments needing authorisation. Asking for numbers to be pressed. Obvous fraud.
RSPB t.v. advert says text for a free info. leaflet, then when you do, this number calls, never leaves a message, or calls and then hangs-up before you can answer - is a nusance,if you can get the info. leaflet online you d be safer.
