Allegedly Vodafone ringing me to give me a 40% discount on my bill for 12 months. I don't use Vodafone. I use ASDA, so they use Vodafone as the signal, but I have no dealings or bills with Vodafone. So clearly a scam.

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. Was sure that it was a Canadian cousin then accepted it wasnt. Asked for £9.00 odd etc etc due to bill , didnt make any sense. I persisted with the likeness (exact) of the females voice and its origins, was told India LOL I know a Canadian accent, I told the thick cow did she think I was thick? and to go and find someone else-I really wanted to use the f word but in case i got it wrong and upset some Indi/adian for nothing (and possibility of getting new phone line cut-off. 99 per cent scam , I think? - Oh

The company calling from this number is selling Funeral plans. Seems to have been prompted by a recent telephone survey.
