RSPB t.v. advert says text for a free info. leaflet, then when you do, this number calls, never leaves a message, or calls and then hangs-up before you can answer - is a nusance,if you can get the info. leaflet online you d be safer.

Phone rang at approx 7.30pm Sat 25 Oct 2014. Answered and said "Hello". An Asian woman asked for me by name, but there was a lot of noise in the background so immediately made me think that this was wrong. If it was a reputable company (who should still be not allowed to make cold calls) it would be silent. I didn t confirm my name but asked who the company was. She said Social UK and proceeded to explain she was doing a survey. I had to talk over her to ask her not to call this number again and then

These are the same people who used to call up pretending to be Talk Talk and say that your computer has a virus etc. This time they didn t mention Talk Talk, but the name above. I said I didn t deal with them and they said it was because I used Windows. I said that they weren t Microsoft. They have foreign/asian accents. I have only received calls like this since Talk Talk was hacked. I blocked them with Call Blocker, but they seem to call back using a multitude of numbers.

rang asking for my 98 year old mother, fortunately I answered. Said from "energy Trust" based in Hereford Talked about renewable energy,solar panelsetc.Said not interested twice and when I asked him to remove phone number from list he hung up.

I have received many calls over the last few days & they annoyingly hang up when the call is answered. I wish the phone companies wouldn't sell our numbers!!

This is the number for Capital One. They generally call if you ve missed a payment due on a credit card you hold with them; Very helpful when you are having financial difficulties and they will always try to help find a solution for those who genuinely wish to resolve their cashflow issues.

Automated message in an American voice telling me to call back this number as it s the HMRC needing to speak with me about my accounts & if I don t I will need to speak to my solicitor as I m going to get a big fine if I don t. Do Not call back at any cost. It is a hoax.

Called me at work, then when I said I was busy he called me an idiot told me he didn t need my permission to call my phone and then hung up on me. Said he was from Credit Research. FUMING.

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. Called me claiming I called them last year about House insurance, when I told him I had not heard of him and never called them or anyone else about home insurance as I do it all online he got rude and aggressive, I put the phone down. This was Friday, I just got two calls from this company five minutes apart, next time will threaten to report them to police as this has worked with these types of calls before
