SCAM - Claimed to be from Amazon offering to arrange a refund for an order if I provided details. I pointed out that I could cancel through my account. They said they would not refund me without the details. I ended the call and checked my account which showed no activity

I answered on their third call. Liam tried to be my friend, then wanted to know if I was insured. I thanked him for his concern, and told him the conversation was over. Then hung up.
This is considered a scam and fraud telephone as my ageing parents were contacted by this so called PPI Team, I took over the call as my parents could not understand these cold calling scammers wanted from them. I wish they would leave a voicemail message when they ring. I just missed their call and as there was no message I assumed it was a scam call. we get a lot and would never ring the number back unless there was a message left saying who it was and why they were ringing. but I would ring 150 from the landline if I'd known it was virgin regarding my problem. only trouble is that you can be waiting for over an hour before you get an answer! not happy with virgin at all.

Scam indian/pakistani/bangladeshi caller pretending to sell electricity and gas. They don't know a lot about either so they are just gathering details in the hope of profiling you. Several calls today, i managed to make one last 37 mins whilst i did other things. That is 37 other calls they couldn't make. RESULT
