I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don t forget to care!

Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. Really annoying. Phone at all times during the day and evening up to 930pm. Never answered it, but it definitely is not an 01283 number, the 325002 does not exist in this area!

Had the very same thing on this number 016188182004. Indian accent from a call centre, passed on to "manager". Told them them I knew what they were up to and that they were ringing from India. Don t give them any information and put the phone down.

Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box .
