They called my number and then rang off so I looked it up here and thank goodness I did - these blasted calls are driving me potty - I get at least two a day that I have to block!!!! This one is now added to the BLOCKED list!
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 12696048xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing - Life Insurers 'Review Department'. Just block it if not intereste

Gibson was previously a Director of Service Monkey and Davis Group (now dissolved) and also involved with Tax Recovery Bureau (now dissolved). Not sure if Sturgess is involved with Mogen Business Hub, however, he does have an interest in HML Consultants Limited (selling home appliances warranties) and the HML Consultants website is displaying the same telephone number as Mogen Business Hub. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438667xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

Scam - Caller said that they were from Microsoft and, over the last four days, they have received notification that hackers etc had got access to my computer. If I turned on my computer they would be able to clear them from it. When I said it was a scam, I was told that if I did not let them remove the hackers, Microsoft would have to stop any computer from being able to work from my address in the future.

SCAM Claimed to be from BT calling about internet, and having other connections on it. Would not expand on what the so called problem was. Address me by an incorrect surname, which only originated from when Santander outsourced their service to India. It was an Indian girl speaking, with a busy background office noise, clearly scams are an industrial scale originating from India. I’m on the BT call monitoring service too, so clearly it doesn’t always work.
Some landline from Manchester, but no idea who is it? Just a missed call, no message, no viocemail left. Don't want to call them back, I never call back unknown numbers...
