I had a call from this number just now sounded lika a possible tax scam. it used very threatening language ans was an automated message

Hassling you about a motoring accident and getting you to claim. My last accident was over 5 years ago and I dealt with a compensation claim off my own back. First call. I can t find them on companies house. Was a survey about a recent RTA then they can close my claim down. He was adiment it wasn t a nuisance call. I asked him who my insurer was. He couldn t answer funny how he was calling on behalf of them. Terminated the call and is now on my block list.

After a little research when they left a similar message to everyone elses reports saying they were DRD and to call them back. This seems to be them http://www.debtreleasedirect.co.uk They are a debt management company (rather than debt collection) and it is a sales call.

It seems its a scam as they called me as a car insurance company asking my bank card details for payming without sending me an email or post for the contract details!

Phone rang once then cut off. No doubt a scam hoping you call back & being charged a premium rate call.

Not a phone number I recognise so I chose to ignore it and block it.
