Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

Guys & gals. DO YOURSELVES A HUGE FAVOUR!!! If they are ringing your mobile phone, Do you have a smartphone or iPhone? Search for an app on your app store called "Blacklist" (There s a few to choose from) It s free and I use it to block all of these nuisance calls and texts. These app s are great, Once you get a nuisance call/text, all you do is click onto the app, browse by call log and tap on the call you want blocked and that s it! They can t bother you again! Phone didn t ring, only got a voice mail from them lasting about 1 minute. No intelligible voices, just background noises. Subdued, possibly an office or call centre? Would be disturbing if I was less self confident. My number is registered with TPS.
