A woman with a West African accent phoned me at 4.30 pm on 12th July 2012. She asked me how my "claim" was progressing and whether she could help. Obviously a telemarketing call because there was the usual buzz of conversation in the background. The annoying thing is that I m on the Telephone Preference List of people who should *NOT* be contacted by telemarketers. Unfortunately, it doesn t seem to have worked in this case. Called on 4 July claims to be e core surveyors except she could not spell it as she was dyslexic. Would not tell me where she was, claimed company was in w Yorkshire, this looks to me like a Liverpool number. Claimed it was her first day in the job and by saying we were registered with the TPS I was making her nervous.complained that I had interrupted her spiel and I was being rude. I was not, just asking for company details which she was refusing to give.
