Had this same blocked from over a year ago for similar attempted scams! Somehow he left a voicemail saying it?s ?Steven? from a golf course!! So obviously still at the scam game. Needs a good slap

Mine is much the same as previous comments but from 01617414000, in the end I put phone down as heard lots of clapping and cheering in background which I found very odd.

Very dangerous they are scam folk trying to put a virus on your computer and when the virus installs the program that will encrypt all your files and your computer will be as useless as a waterproof teabag and can no longer access your computer unless you pay a ransom fee off over ?1,000 to put it right These guys are not from Microsoft !!!!!!

Actually this is a 'spoof' number - one digit short for a genuine Manchester phone number.

INSURANCE SCAMMERS BOTHERING ME EVRY SINGLE DAY. WHEN I SAID IM BUSY, THEN THIS INDIAN GUY SAID: "IF YOU RE BUSY WHY DID YOU PICK UP THE CALL?" AND THEN THEY HUNG UP. I ONLY PICKED UP AS NOT ALL PEOPLE ARE ON MY PHONE LIST. AND IT COULD VE BEEN AN IMPORTANT CALL. AND I WAS AT MIDDLE OF AN IMPORTANT MEETING. Purports to be from BT ? Indian woman wanting to know about certain numbers ! SCAM !!! Lots of uk numbers seem to be hijacked or re routed through Indian call centres !!!

RSPB t.v. advert says text for a free info. leaflet, then when you do, this number calls, never leaves a message, or calls and then hangs-up before you can answer - is a nusance,if you can get the info. leaflet online you d be safer.
