As above I also received a pop up message requesting that I call apple support as illegal activity was detected.. stupid twit I am called it as the message wouldn't disappear therefore blocking safari.. I was then told by some Indian d*ck head to pay £117 or my handset will be blocked.. my response was blunt and said I wasn't being ripped off by the cunts. I was called by this number this morning. They told me they were calling regarding my licence from MICROSOFT being lapsed. They told me they would be able to renew my licence and could show me how to remove hackers from my laptop. I allowed these people access to my laptop thinking I was removing the hackers and viruses from the laptop. They gained access to my files and I have had money removed from my bank account (now closed).

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

I received a call today from this number. They knew my name and told me they were ringing about my computer and that someone had tried to hack into it twice. I responded by saying no one tried to hack into my computer and how did you get this number and they hung up. This was clearly a scam but the scary part about it was that I could hear he was in a call centre.
