The usual rubbish about owing Amazon money for a non-existent account. It's going up. £300 plus this time. I suppose even scammers have to allow for inflation.

Complete scam, said if I didn't redo my (successfully settled) PPI claim they would be authorising my bank to keep any more money due to me. I work in finance and advised I will be reporting to FCA.

I was almost caught completely with this scam. I have been having problems with my internet speeds recently so believed them. Stupidly I did some of the things they asked me to check the speeds. Got suspicious when they asked me to submit me internet details in order to get the compensation that they claim I was owed. Also my mouse pointer started moving of own accord, which gave suspicion that they had control of my computer. I have changed some passwords as a precaution but thankfully they were not succes

From the 'UK benefits office' telling me I was eligible for benefits...if I gave them all my details.

A Man (after a pause) called on this number saying it was Amazon and that someone had ordered a smart phone on my account. I didn't give him chance to say what he wanted me to do about it - he was going to send an email. I put the phone down and checked with Amazon who confirmed no one had telephoned me from there.

oh my lord will not stop ..they will also try with end digits change ..ive told them stop calling ..to no avail ..everyday they call right up til 7 in eve ..shame we cant report these pests

I called the number & it said "hold the line... your call has been successfull" this was on repeat. I hung up as it was obviously a scam call.

SCAM claims to be from BT and says your internet has been used for illegal activities and will be disconnected, vishing recorded message scam, do not press any keys when prompted, just hang up

first utility trying to get me to swap supplier for gas

Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour

SCAM. Claims to be from HMRC and that a fraud investigation has been opened against my name. I didn't listen to the whole massage.
