Beware of calls from this number, they say that they are calling about your washing machine warranty expiry, but have no correct details about your machine. I believe they are trying to get you to pass on your personal details and therefore a scammer.

I missed their first call yesterday, but answered today and they said they were calling about an accident I ve been involved in recently (with an upward tone at the end - as though they were asking this as a question)... I just said "errr, no - I ve not been involved in an accident for a long while" and they hung up on me. Very untrustworthy - don t bother answering.
Called saying our internet will be switched off in 24 hours. Asked me to go on my laptop... I hung up!

claimed to be from hotpoint/any other kitchen device manufacturer because they are ''all under the same umbrella'' trying to sell warranty for items that didn't exist. Asked for full name and order number but they didn't have it. Asked if it was a scam and they hung up.
Asked for wife of phone number holder. there isnt one. sounds like a sub-continent call centre.
Called saying from o2 never asked for any of my personal details but sent me a one time pass code kept me on the line for quite some time offering me discount on my bill plus free upgrade. When call ended contacted o2 and was informed that the one time pass code is what they use to lock me out of the account and gives them the access to use my account
SCAM Called and left a message regarding criminal proceedings and to press one if I wanted to know more about my criminal case facts. Huge red flag!!!!!!!!!

SCAM / SPAM I was called and asked if I was interested in online stocks. When I told him twice I was not interested he became abusive and started telling me to fuck off he had other customers waiting to make money and to stop wasting his time. SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation.
