Got a call from this number saying they are from HMRC and I have criminal record for outstanding tax payments. They said if I don’t pay today over the phone a warrant will be out for my arrest. Tried calling the number back and It says service closed with a dial tone. Sounds like a scam to me. Please be aware.

Constantly calls, approx. 4 calls a day, until the last 3 or 4 days where it has become more, including 30 calls at least today!! SPAM had a Indian accent women, obviously in a call center with the background noise, plus the delay in the call actually connecting .she is claiming to be from Car Phone Warehouse, offering me a better deal . £30 per month on everything unlimited . I blocked number as she was speaking so never heard the rest of her babble I doubt very much it is from car phone warehouse, and its a spam or scam call
Got a call from a guy asking me if i had problems with my ears of if i had worked in a noisy environment. Hung up when i said no. Called the number to see who they were and where they were from but the number is not recognised.
It s the British Gas number, I use it to ring them. Unsure why they would ring you though?
