SCAM A recorded computer voice (woman) saying that I was being investigated for Tax Fraud and that a warrant was out for my arrest - told me to press 1 for more information. At no point did the message identify who was calling, what agency, etc. Definite scam call.

Called this morning, saying they were from 'Microsoft Technical Department'. I took my phone and placed it right against my fire alarm, then switched to test. Ear shattering sound, straight down the telephone - hope they were happy! Recommend everyone does the same with these type of calls.

Had this man call me, telling me iv got dept ,and asking for my home address and how I pay my dept and they be collecting it . I know iv got no dept and also he called me by my fake Facebook name ! SCAM Said they were a claims company. Had my name, date of birth but had wrong address details. She claimed that I had used them to make a claim several years ago which isn't true. She said it may be so long ago I had forgotten using though them. It's not too long and I know I never have or will use claim companies or cold calls. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - sometimes energy companies. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Probably I am wrong with this one but started
