When answered it was a recorded message about outstanding debt that I might have. Terminated called and blocked number on my mobile

Man called from First Response, asked for me by name saying it was about an accident I had “a while back” and was it me the reported it. He hung up when I said I didn’t know what he was taking about.

As others, I answered the phone and waited, and waited, and waited. After around 15 seconds I heard it start to dial out, and someone then began to speak but I closed the call before responding. Clearly a call centre whose autodial is calling faster than their agents can respond.

Called our TPS registered line. Burst of noise/music after we picked up, followed by silence then " Ello! Ow are yew?" from a caller who then immediately asked to speak to "The owner". Hi guys.. We all keep getting these calls!! I know its annoying, illegal, upsetting, etc.. I get probably 5-10 on a daily basis, ranging from PPi, boilers, hearing aids, accidents and many more! When you tell them ur not interested, this is the worst thing you can do, because they WILL NEVER DELETE YOUR NUMBER!! They gets commissions just for contacting you!! So this is what I do now.... Accept the calls, and give them false details of ur name and address and mention u have changed ur phone number. (M
