Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 118328xxxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. Told me they were just going through the Bt phone records, because I asked not to be called again the caller said that they would give my number to everyone in the place and get them all to ring me. Very argumentative. I had to hang up in the end.

An Asian sounding woman claimed she was from BT and was she speaking to the person who pays the bills etc. I said no, but my husband would be home at 6.30pm so call back. The woman immediately said that it was important information she had that our computer has been hacked and this could be dangerous. I said no thanks and put the phone down. Considering I don't have a computer I can only assume this was a dangerous scam for others to watch out for.

My service provider advised me previously, that unless they know who they are, they can t do anything about it. The lady Bhavisa told me they are the MORTGAGE ADVICE SERVICE, HOME FINANCE . So, if you re experiencing nuisance calls you can advise your service provider who they are, and they can then deal with them. Together we can stop them!
