This number is from a nuisance caller. Calls are usually silent, or hang up as soon as you answer. There have been many complaints about this number - one person had 35 calls in one day. When they do answer they fish for information about you without explaining what they need the info for. Don t give them the time of day - just hang up

2 phone calls within 2 minutes of each other, from number 07921057599. It was a recorded message apparently from Amazon Prime... They're using recorded messages now to bug people because even THEY can't be bothered to to speak to people anymore, and yet WE are supposed to be interested!!! Fraud robot call trying to say its from DWP
Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.

Some rubbish about disconnecting my Internet if I don t follow instructions which, undoubtedly, would involve me in racking-up a huge phone bill, i.e. if press either 1 or 2 as instructed. I hung-up. A variation on the SCAM calls from India about problems with internet account.

Insurance - scam - sending me maintenance policy renewal papers for my (16 year old) washing machine and (a twenty year old refrigerator). Aimee was very nice but on a loser with this nonsense. She did not know what brand or how old they were but was quite adamant they had been insuring them since installation but could not tell me which bank had been paying the premiums so wanted such details..Amazingly they ARE that old but spares that still work very well when(rarely) needed.
I wish I had been in when they called: I always give them such hell, they wish they d never been born!!! I pretend I do not understand or am hard of hearing or am in a nursing home or I am a child, or a tenant, or just plain simple stupid as 2 short planks! they called 2x lately: my phone goes on the answer machine after 2 rings - they never left a massage; I shall watch out for this call - I need some fun AND no danger of getting pregnant!
