If you tried to ring it back and it said the number hasn t been recognised, then it doesn t exist and is a scam.
This is a SCAM number: Female voice says HMRC are launching a lawsuit against you and to press one to talk to a case officer. HMRC do not use recorded calls from mobile numbers: they write. These scammers try to get you to pay them. Block it!

I have been repeatedly called on my cellphone from this number, no message left at any time. Have ignored because I don t know anyone in Alton, Hampshire. Phoned the number back from a private landline and got a voice mail message saying "the person at extension 251 is unavailable, please leave your name..." etc. Very annonying!

ACTIVE MART website seem to have build a fraudulent site around Atlantic Electronics Limited (a real trading company) and are using their London address to sell goods via a separate website. Active Mart state they are part of A&M Electronics Limited, also at the same London address. ACTIVE MART seem to be a SCAM website company - DO NOT BUY from them or give them your credit card details, when payment fails to go through they ask you to do a BACS Transfer of money to them - be aware!!!

Fraud Was chatting with someone online who gave me this number. Claimed she was 20 years old. Then she sent a nude pic of herself, then told me she's 17, but 18 next month. Had a call this morning from a man claiming to work for a company called "First Pass", asking about an RTA I was supposed to have been involved in. I asked how he got my details and requested that they be deleted from their data-base. I have never been in an RTA, and am on TPS to prevent cold-callers. He persisted in trying to obtain more information from me and when I refused to answer, he hung up. If they call again, I shall report them to Ofcom.

This was a call from Amazon. We did not pursue the subject further, believing it to be a scam.
They have called more than 10 times in the last few days. Including 3 times in 2 hours. I am registered on the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and the Mailing Preference Service (MPS) but they are breaking the law by ignoring this. Don t be tempted to use them, especially the arrogant idiot in Ashbourne.
