My partner have a lot of personal stuff happening and these idiots just call several times a day and sometimes because it looks like a genuine number you automatically pick up. DON T do it. I m letting the answer machine do it s thing but I just wish these idiots would bugger off.

Yet another so called tele marketing company exploiting the current loop hole in the TPS system.

When I answered the call, I heard an intake of breath like the caller was going to speak, then the line went dead.

Received call at 4pm. Didn't answer.

This number rang me on 29/10/20 with an automated message about trying to send an amount from a visa credit card. I hung up straight away as i knew this was a scam call.

Rang and went to automated message with options to go to this and that. Poor connection but seemed similar to the HMRC scam call a while ago.

This is BT text service notifying you that soemone has sent a SMS to your home phone number which it will subsequently read if your home phone is not SMS enabled. A pain as it doesn t seem to be limited to reasonable hours. I don t remember telling Parcelforce that I wanted a 6AM wakeup call, I seem to remember ordering an item and receiving an email with tracking info saying they were going to deliver it. Claimed to be phoning in respect of an accident 2 years ago. When asked which company they were he said he was not calling from a company but from the Claims Team that works with a lot of insurers. Asked him who paid his wages. Eventually he hung up. Scam from top to bottom.

Think its a scam getting desperate as people are getting wiser

They offer to arrange "free consultancy calls" on the basis of you being an active purchaser online. Blatant scammers who ignore the TPS. Block or use your referee s whistle.

A new number for me and also, of course, unrecognised. Thus Call Blocker again came to the fore and is now going to be permanently blocked.
