Rang my mother . Knew all her details. Pretended to be British Gas and said if she paid 199.99 now she would save money. They even knew her BG home service plan was up for renewal soon. He was so polite and convincing, she gave her bank card details. Luckily Nationwide have done a visa dispute and refunded her. We have phoned trading standards, British gas . Written a cancellation letter to so called company. This needs to go to Watchdog.

Answering machine answered. Caller hung up.

Echo comments above - scam. Added to my personal blacklist with BT ( via 1572)

Called saying I had a problem with my broadband. Assumed scam call.

They call to say I issues with my BT broadband but then got VERY abusive when i told him my number was registered with tps and he was breaking the law and that I was wasting his time as he was mine. I m a "Richard Head" and a "female dog" amongst other names.

Informed that i had been involve d in a car accident, when i stated that this was not so she put the phone down, she had stated that she was phoning from a company but because of her acsent i did not get the name. On returning the call i am informed that it is not a recognisable number.

Called my mobile and then landline number and a man with a Liverpool accent said they had been passed my details and they were calling about an accident I d had. Told him I hadn t and they should not have my details and to remove them from their lists and also told him that both numbers registered with TPS so will report them.

Rang to arrange appointment for repair to my tumble dryer. Quick, straight forward, efficient and no sell.

This was the first call from Hardy Evans Ltd. I got a name by trying to call back the number 01792764634 as I assumed that it might have been from one of job agancies. Wrong move. Why am gettin call from this number

Call from sky (obviously it wasn t them) telling me I was using a Sky Dish, asking my age etc and then hung up - Odd seeing as Sky is in my partners name and not mine. Obvious phishing expedition.

got a call from this number and they hung up when I answered. few mins later someone rang quoting my name and address saying we had been getting unwanted calls. they could block these calls etc sounded good till charge of 1.90 a month mentioned. i asked who reported these calls but he said it was a general thing people in this area were suffering from. after hung up I checked the number of who called and was same as first caller who had hung up. these are the very same people we dont want calls from surely?

Had a call from BT saying my broadband connection was having faults and they needed me to access my computer. I believe this is a SCAM.

Supposed to be insurance call centre.

Thanks for making me aware of whats happening re above number. Its lovely just to leave them talking to themselves and paying for the call. Doesn t cause me any problems at all, no stress, problem is all theirs as is the cost!
