Actually the call but not to stand directly in front of the door and collect donations for the Red Cross. It is not easy to remain admissible in such a subject and to say no.
Fraud- constanntly calling over 24hr period asking for video call, with no particular purpose. Very suspicious and annoying, potentially dangerous.

SCAM. Left an automated message claiming to be from HMRC and that if I didn't press 1, I would be arrested shortly. Made me laugh
These people keep calling me but when i speak they do not seem to hear me. I ve now got caller ID and will not answer them again. They are ringing at least twice every day but i think the delay means that they are not in this country. Really really annoying. I am planning to call Pet Plans head office on Monday and complain.

After doing an online insurance comparison on go compare, they call 2 or 3 time in quick succession until you answer. They are just following up your quotation, but if I do a comparison on line, it s because I don t want the hassle of talking to people like this on the phone. Ironically, they were the cheapest quote but it did put me off a little. I ve still got 2 days to decide and will probably go with them so they don t really need to be doing these "follow up" calls.

I ONLY PICKED UP AS NOT ALL PEOPLE ARE ON MY PHONE LIST. AND IT COULD VE BEEN AN IMPORTANT CALL. AND I WAS AT MIDDLE OF AN IMPORTANT MEETING. Got a LOT of calls from this number but it turns out my letting agents had told Virgin Media we were moving and they were trying to contact us to sort that out! Was given a new customer deal again which knocked off £20 a month. The person I dealt with was really lovely too. TL:DR it's safe!

It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.
