Asian caller who said it was Adam from Open Reach and there was a problem with my internet and my connection would be lost in 4 hours. He said I needed to turn on a computer or laptop so he could sort the problem out. I told him my laptop needed charging up and he said he would call back in half an hour. Caller rang and said his name was David Parker, he had a very heavy Asian accent and sounded like he was in a call centre. He claimed to be from BT and said our broadband connection was insecure. When I asked for a contact number he gave me the number 02032898768. I rang this number and it rang several times then cut off. I realised it was a scam and thought nothing more of it.
