Telephone call claiming to be form the Visa Mastercard security line allowing me to select option 1 to cancel 2 attempted transactions this morning. One for £600 and the other for £900. Scam.
To the guy who gave a positive review: cold calling private numbers is a major problem. Even If you did get a good deal on your insurance, these people have no right to be calling people randomly and trying to sell. It s an invasion of privacy, full stop.

They call to say I issues with my BT broadband but then got VERY abusive when i told him my number was registered with tps and he was breaking the law and that I was wasting his time as he was mine. I m a "Richard Head" and a "female dog" amongst other names.

Other websites say its Indian call centres asking for details claim to be EE or o2 or Virgin so that doesnt sound very authentic does it - and if you havent asked for Indian call centres to call you its spam and a likely fraud

SCAM - well I hope it's a scam, it seemed to be a recorded message, claiming to be from HMRC and there was a warrant against my name (which was not given) and that I should press 1 immediately, otherwise I would be arrested shortly. Needles to say I did not press 1 and 3 hours later I am still a free man.... I believe it was a scam call that if I pressed 1 a virus would download to my phone.
