Wednesday, 31 December 2014 09:01 hours. Telephone call from 01706830603. It seems they are nasty bailiff firm called Rossedales. No debts here. No message left. Rang them back, an answer message claimed that their offices were shut. Plenty of warnings about this firm.

On answering several voices heard in background then line went dead

The following steps are suggested:

Sounded like a call centre when I amswered my phone as very loud in the background. Caller was also in the middle of a conversation when I answereed.

Phishing call, claiming to be FedEx in order to get contact details of a colleague. Checked and this number is associated with other scams.

Called twice didnt leave a message, Now blocked !

It was a computer generated message pertaining to be from Ofcom advising our Internet will be disconnected due to hacking like behaviour, we should contact BT to discuss. Neither our phone nor Internet is provided through BT!
