These annoying unsolicited phone pests withholding numbers, PPI, Insurance scams /claims need culling now ..... Day and Night on mobile and landline... Can' t they a real J...

I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!

Called 1st time left a message with a reference and phone number, number was dead, called the 0845 number and it doesn t receive calls ... next day she called me back and said we spoke last year and she missed my renewal date for energy by a day and hoped this year she hadn t missed it.... 100% lies, I work from home ... complete bull, she was also rude

Had a phone call a few minutes ago. I answered it, thinking it was a job, and they hung up.

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. She said she was sorry, again I told her no she wasn t. She said she d take my number off the list. Do they even have a list or do they just randomly ma

As in the other comment I was told to ring 01642850850 - this is useless. It asks you to give the name of the person and offers no other option. Since I don t know who called I was at a dead end

This is a company called Business Advisory Services who appear to be a genuine energy broker but they are aggressive and pushy on the phone. They don t really declare that they are a broker and ask for information on your energy bills. Having established they are a broker, I told them we have an energy broker we are very happy with. Keeps on calling me even though I m not answering. No voicemail left. I answered once and could hear noise like a call centre. It s really annoying now and I blocked but they phoned from another number which is similar with just digits at the end different.
